Green slime mold
Green slime mold growing under the bark of a decaying pine tree. Possibly Physarum polycephalum, though it's typically yellow. Laboratory experiments from the late 1930s showed that this species develops a bright green color when grown on alkaline substrates. Springfield, PA.
